About Us

Velvet Palace didn't start as a tech company. It started as a group of people in a Discord server who figured out that the creator economy was broken — and decided to do something about it.

Late 2020

Emporo Services

It started the way a lot of things start — a Discord server with about thirty people and an idea. Emporo Services was a small community focused on content trading, digital marketing, and connecting creators with audiences that actually wanted to pay for their work. Nothing fancy. No VC money, no pitch decks. Just a handful of people who saw an opportunity and ran with it.

The early days were scrappy. We'd run group promotions, coordinate cross-platform marketing pushes, and help creators price their content properly. Most of the "infrastructure" was spreadsheets, pinned messages, and a lot of late-night conversations in voice channels. But it worked. Word spread, and the server kept growing.

2021 — 2022

Growth & Community

By mid-2021, Emporo had grown from a niche server into a proper community. We had creators across multiple platforms — OnlyFans, Fansly, Instagram, Twitter — all using our marketing channels and trade networks to boost their reach. At the peak, we were running coordinated campaigns for dozens of creators simultaneously, handling content trades, shoutout rotations, and audience-building strategies.

We also started investing in content ourselves. Not just managing it — actually funding photo shoots, editing, and branding for creators who had the talent but not the budget. It was a bet that paid off. Some of those early creators went from a couple hundred followers to full-time incomes within months.

The community side kept growing too. We spun up adjacent servers for different niches, built reputation systems, ran verification for trusted sellers and buyers, and started developing internal tools to manage it all. It felt like we were building something real.

2023 — 2024

The Impasse

And then things slowed down. Platform algorithm changes hit hard. Discord started cracking down on servers in the adult space. Some of our biggest communities got nuked overnight with no warning and no appeals process. The team burned out. A couple of the founding members stepped back to focus on other things. Revenue dropped, motivation dropped with it, and for a while, Emporo went quiet.

We didn't officially shut down — we just sort of drifted. The core server stayed open with a skeleton crew keeping the lights on. A few loyal members stuck around, still running small-scale trades and keeping the community alive. But honestly? It looked like it might be the end of the road.

Early 2025

The Comeback

The break turned out to be necessary. When the original team came back together in early 2025, it was with fresh energy and a clear idea of what needed to change. Discord communities were great, but they were always at the mercy of someone else's platform. One policy update, one mass ban, and years of work could disappear in seconds.

We needed to own the infrastructure. We needed something that couldn't be taken away. So we started building.

2026 — Now

Velvet Palace

Velvet Palace is the product of everything we learned over the past five years. It's a proper platform — a link-in-bio and content monetisation tool built specifically for adult creators, with native payment integration, full design control, and no monthly fees. No more relying on Discord for everything. No more watching your business get wiped because some trust & safety bot flagged the wrong keyword.

The timing couldn't be better. Discord announced that they'll be rolling out mandatory ID verification starting March 1, 2026. For communities in the adult content space, that's a massive disruption. People are looking for alternatives — places where they can host their brand, sell their content, and connect with their audience without jumping through hoops or worrying about deplatforming.

That's exactly what Velvet Palace is. It's not a pivot. It's the thing we were always trying to build — we just didn't have the tools or the reason to build it until now. The Emporo community is still around, still active, still growing. Velvet Palace is just the next chapter.

We're a small team. We build things we'd want to use. And we're not going anywhere.
